New this year.... The Frostbite Classic is teaming up with the IVS Half Marathon in September! Compete in both events and you can win awards for lowest combined time, best negative split, and more!

The Delavan Panther Frostbite Classic is one of the state's oldest road races, and is part of the Illinois Valley Striders Grand Prix series. The 13.1 mile road race has become an annual spring tradition in central Illinois, and has been run continuously for 36 years. The race begins near Delavan High School, and follows a mostly flat (some say rolling) loop around a six mile loop (twice), and finishes back at the school. Bus transportation is provided to the starting line. All proceeds from the race will go directly to support the Delavan athletic programs.

Restrooms will be available in the school, but there are no restrooms on the race course. Each mile of the course will be marked, but there will not be any splits given.

Entry fee is $30. Hooded sweatshirts will be guaranteed to all runners that register before March 15. Sweatshirts will not be guaranteed after this date. Race day registration will be available.

AWARDS
Awards will be given to the top 3 male and female finishers, as well as the top 2 finishers in each age division. The overall male and female masters (40 and over) will receive awards also. There will be a $250 cash prize for any runner, male and female, that can set a course record!

MALE AND FEMALE DIVISIONS: Under 30, 30-34,35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, and 55-59, and 60 and over.
